Boulder Mountainbike Alliance (BMA) was incorporated as a Colorado non-profit in August, 1991 as the Boulder Offroad Alliance (BOA). Yep, BMA has been working towards better trails for Boulder County for over 23 years!

Since the original incorporation, the organization name has been changed, the Articles of Incorporation and the Corporate Bylaws have been revised, and BMA has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a public charity, effective April 12, 2013.  With our 501(c)(3) status, your contributions to BMA are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The original and revised Articles of Incorporation and the record of the corporate name change are on file (on-line) at the Colorado Secretary of State's website.

The Federal non-profit determination, BMA Form 1023 non-profit application, and associated attachments (including the revised Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Corporate Policies) are available below.
