Social Rides

Boulder Mountainbike Alliance organizes all kinds of rides for all kinds of riders. Whether you're looking to meet people, explore new trails, build your skills, or push your limits, we've got a ride for you!

if you or anyone you know is interested in getting involved as a volunteer with the BMA Social Rides please email us at rides@bouldermountainbike.org.

Gurlz Ride

These are weekly women's rides, because gurlz ride! We ride on alternating Wednesday's and Thursday's from May to September. Our Wednesday rides are "no drop rides", these rides are geared towards all levels from beginner to advanced. Our Thursday rides will go at a faster pace, and are generally intended for riders who are familiar with the trails and have some level of riding experience - check the calendar to see our schedule. We finish every ride by gathering at a local establishment for food and drinks, and offer skills clinics throughout the summer.

BOSS

BOSS = Blow Off Some Steam rides, for the after-work crowd. These are co-ed rides for intermediate to advanced riders, taking place on different days of the week at different trails, just watch the calendar for details. Ready to kick up some dirt at the BOSS?.

Mix and Mingle

Want to meet other riders? New to the area? Hoping to find that special someone who loves the trails as much as you do? Come out and join us on the first Tuesday of each month. These are co-ed rides for intermediate riders, taking place on different trails all summer-long. Each ride is followed by dinner and drinks so you can get to know folks. Not just for singles but if you’re looking for love, this is way better than Match! Hosted by a married couple who met thanks to BMA..

Singletrack Saturdays

If your ideal Saturday involves a long dirt ride with great company, come check out our "Saturday group ride". These co-ed rides will range from 2.5 to 4 hours and are suitable for riders with some experience doing 2+ hour rides. We'll do some of the "epics" on the Front Range, but also throw in some trails in the high mountains. Wherever we go, there will be lots of sweat, dirt, sun and singletrack - the ingredients for a perfect Saturday. If you love riding, meeting others, and enjoy long days and beautiful weather, come out and join us!

Caribou Classic
