The trailhead at Mud Lake is closed due to formation of a sinkhole. BCPOS plans to reopen the trailhead on Saturday February 23rd, 2013. Chapman Drive recently opened to uphill bike traffic, as a way to link Boulder Canyon with the top of Flagstaff Road. On Feb 13, the city's Open Space and Mountain Parks Department is holding a public open house to discuss options for two-way bike travel, in addition to dog management options....
Watch for heavy equipment and trucks on Meyers Gulch trail during late January and all of February. Maintenance crews are performing work on a pipeline to Barker Reservoir.
The trail will remain open but please use caution.
