BMA and Singletrack Mountain Bike Adventures (SMBA) have joined forces to specifically develop this social ride for young riders, or as an introduction to the fun sport of mountain biking. This series of rides on easy to moderate trails, allows young riders to master newly acquired biking skills. Rides are oriented toward the beginner rider where safety, fundamental skills, and basic bike maintenance are presented.

This 4-week series is developed for riders ages 7-12, and will repeat throughout the summer. For additional youth riding opportunities check out Singletrack Mountain Bike Adventures (SMBA).

Trails/Trailheads: Marshal Mesa, Flatirons Vista, Doudy Draw, Betasso.

Want to meet other riders? New to the area? Hoping to find that special someone who loves the trails as much as you do? Come out and join us on the first Tuesday of each month. These are co-ed rides for intermediate riders, taking place on different trails all summer-long. Each ride is followed by dinner and drinks so you can get to know folks. Not just for singles but if you're looking for love, this is way better than Match! Hosted by a married couple who met thanks to BMA.

Mix and Mingle is a no-drop ride.

Gurlz Ride

Ladies only
All levels

Every Thursday
6:00 p.m.

The BMA GurlzRide, our weekly women-only ride, is about more than just riding. They are about fun, post-ride drinks, and the camaraderie that comes with seeing yourself progress over time. We love to ride, and we enjoy meeting other women who do too! At the trailhead we split into two groups: beginner and intermediate/advanced, and each ride has a leader and a sweep so you won't get dropped. Many of our current ride leaders came out to the Gurlz Ride as first time riders. Hope to see you!

The Gurlz Ride is a no-drop ride.

Singletrack Saturday / Sunday

Intermediate / Advanced

Saturdays & occasional weekends
(see calendar for specific dates)

Singletrack Saturday/Sunday is an informal weekend ride, that will take place at trails areas within a few hours drive of Boulder. Pack a lunch, bring your friends, and plan on 3-5 hours of fun in the saddle.

This ride does not take place every weekend, see the BMA calendar for scheduled dates.

There is not a sweep for this ride. Riders are encouraged to bring a map and/or be familiar with the trail area, and be prepared for a variety of weather and terrain conditions.

Occasionally we will have a Singletrack Saturday camping weekend*. BMA will reserve the camp ground, and provide some burgers or other fare for dinner. All you need to do is sign up, bring your gear and join us.  No formal organized ride will be planned for the camping weekends. Bring the family and come out for a relaxing weekend getaway with other BMA members.
