BMA Mexico Trail Seminar SOLD OUT

BMA will provide trail building services for the town of Sayulita, Villa Sayulita, and any area deemed part of the Sayulita trail system. BMA will travel to Sayulita the week of Jan 21 - 28, 2018. BMA Trail Crew Leaders would travel 2 days prior to the work crew to layout and flag trail corridors. The remaining 5 trail crew members would plan on arriving on Sunday and working Monday - Thursday mornings. BMA will develop a trail building class to present as part of the project. We would look to provide a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer work while we are in Sayulita.

  • Boulder Mountainbike Alliance (BMA) volunteers will pay for their air transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta
  • WildMex will provide ground transportation to and from PVR airport for 6 people and 6 bikes
  • Villa Sayulita will provide accommodations for 4 nights (Sunday through Wednesday) for a minimum of 6 persons (1-2 rooms)
  • We will conduct a free trail building seminar on Sunday evening prior to working on Monday morning for Sayulita-based trail builders/volunteers
  • BMA trail builders will provide >100 hours of volunteer labor for Sayulita trails and the Villa Sayulita pump track
  • Villa Sayulita will provide the conference/meeting room, food and beverages (beer and other) for a social event for the entire trail building crew to be held during the week.
  • WildMex will provide surf boards and transportation to Punta Mita for 3 days
  • WildMex will arrange transportation to/from Moscota, lodging and guide service. These costs will be paid for by the US-based trail crew.
  • All parties will agree to the project by August 1, 2017 so that we can properly promote the trip to BMA trail builders.
  • BMA will confirm the number of trail builders and accommodation needs by December 15, 2017
