Knobby Ride- SufferFest PREVIEW

Any age, any ability - we've got a ride for you!

  • Are you looking to meet other mountain bikers?
  • Do you have kids that like to ride but can't follow you on your favorite trails?
  • Is your girlfriend or boyfriend slower than you :)?
  • Are you looking for that hard to find trail that only the insiders know about?
  • Are you curious about the SufferFest trails and itching tio see if you have it in you to ride a samping of them?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then the BMA Knobby Weekend ride is for you.

Come join us on Aug 20th at Beaver Reservoir up in the High Country.  From basecamp near the Res, we will hit many of the trails at the end of the SufferFest Ride.  This ride will be a great oppotunity to see if SufferFest is for you by testing out some of the trails on the SufferFest route. Rides of varying levels will be held on the Sourdough Trail, both toward the north and toward the south.  An advanced group may ride up the gravel raod to descend the uber rocky Buchanan Pass Trail.  The Beaver Res Cutoff Trail and the Wapiti Trail are also possibilities.

We will have "no-drop" rides for all skill levels, ranging from kids and cruisers to hammer heads.

Be sure to save time for the post ride BBQ and Beer brought to you by Whole Foods and Oskar Blues.

Make sure to check the updated trail closure and notices
