Front Range Road

Trail Meter:
Poor

Roads ain't trails in BMA's book, but this road is a necessary evil so we put it in the trails database for ya.  It's a dirt doubletrack which connects Magnolia Road to the intersection of the Blue, Yellow, and Red Dots at the bottom of the hill.  Usually riders come in on the Blue Dot, bust out the Yellow/Red Loop, then use Front Range Road to climb out and head home via Magnolia Road.  Save a little gas in the tank for a sustained but completely managable climb to the road.

Rideable but will probably get slushy if it stays warm.

Packed snow

Up to two inches of snow in shaded areas. Dry where it's sunny. All rideable on a regular bike.

all dots are the spot see to be

In great condition.

The short access road has a mud bog I saw a Jeep get stuck in. I wouldn't try to drive to the end until it has a chance to dry out.

Dots rumored to be mostly snow free, but many downed trees.

Mostly dry.

Crusty snow. Rideable at low tire pressures.
